Food for thought

Mcdouble-$1.o0 Two patties, one slice of cheese
Double Cheeseburger-$1.29 Two patties, two slices of cheese.
I was curious what the difference was, so I asked.

And if you order a double hamburger, they will charge you the double cheeseburger price -- because they are saving more cheese, so they should charge you more?

That's so crazy. Even more crazy is the fact that we are so educated in the McDonalds' menu. I'm totally able to beat their high prices by ordering off the dollor menu instead of combo meals. I can order drive-thru dinner for 5 for under 12 bucks. So now I'll order a McDouble with no cheese for Jax instead of a Double hamburger right?
